at Chaucer Technology School.

Induction.   If your son/daughter has expressed an interest in joining the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award unit, please discuss the information available on this website; the parents' guide and leaflets from the school shared documents folder; and www.dofe.org

Meetings & Mentoring.  Please watch the noticeboard near H203, the weekly school notice or this web site for regular updates.

Expeditions.  When your son/daughter has completed at least one section they can prepare for their expedition.  The new expedition season starts in April.  The main camp is likely to be in July after exams have finished.

Presentations.   When your son/daughter has finished their Qualifying expedition they will present their research.  Parents are more than welcome to attend.

Certificate evening.  When your son/daughter has completed their Bronze D of E Award, you will be invited to a presentation event.  This may be as part of the Sports Presentation Evening or as a Canterbury area DofE event.
